1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using dawnpropartners.com (the “Website”), our online assessment tool, or any services provided by Dawn Pro Partners (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website or Services.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dawn Pro Partners regarding your use of the Services. In the event of any conflict between these documents, these Terms shall prevail.

The English-language version of the Website, these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer, service descriptions, prices, booking terms, payment flows, assessment results, and any legal or compliance notices is the authoritative version. Any machine-translated version of the Website is provided for convenience only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and does not amend, replace, interpret, or create binding obligations separate from the English version.

2. Eligibility

Our Services are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using our Services on behalf of a family or household, you represent that you have the authority to bind all members of that family or household to these Terms.

3. Our Services

Dawn Pro Partners provides immigration consultancy services for individuals and families considering relocation to Portugal. Our services include online visa pathway assessments, strategy consultation sessions, application guidance, and settlement support.

Dawn Pro Partners is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice as defined by Portuguese law (Lei n.º 49/2004). When your situation requires legal services, including but not limited to legal representation, contract review, or formal legal opinions, we coordinate with lawyers licensed to practise in Portugal and registered with the Ordem dos Advogados. Legal services are provided under a separate engagement between you and the relevant legal professional, and may be subject to additional fees and terms.

4. Assessment Tool

Our online assessment tool generates visa pathway recommendations based on the information you provide. Assessment results are informational and for general guidance purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, a guarantee of visa eligibility, or a promise of any specific immigration outcome.

Assessment results reflect our understanding of Portuguese immigration requirements as of the date the assessment is generated. Immigration laws, regulations, income thresholds, and processing procedures are subject to change at any time without notice. You should always verify assessment findings with a qualified professional before making immigration decisions.

The accuracy of your assessment results depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. Dawn Pro Partners is not responsible for inaccurate results caused by incorrect, incomplete, or misleading inputs.

Access to your free assessment results and PDF requires agreement to our email subscription for Portugal immigration updates, service news, reminders, and offers, as disclosed at lead capture and in our Privacy Policy. If you do not want promotional emails, you must unsubscribe using the link in any marketing message or our unsubscribe page; transactional assessment and booking messages may still be sent where required.

5. Consultation Bookings

Strategy consultation sessions are booked and paid for in advance through our Website. Sessions are approximately 30 minutes in duration and are conducted via video call.

You will receive confirmation details and preparation guidance by email following your booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are available at the scheduled time and have a stable internet connection for the video call.

Dawn Pro Partners reserves the right to reschedule a consultation if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer an alternative time or a refund of the consultation fee at your choice.

6. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Dawn Pro Partners does not store your payment card details on our servers. All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise stated.

Consultation fee credit: if you proceed with an engagement package following your strategy session, your consultation fee is credited in full toward that package.

Refund policy for engagement packages: if you choose to disengage before visa application submission, you are eligible for a refund of 50% of our consultancy fees. This refund applies only to Dawn Pro Partners consultancy fees. Third-party fees that have already been paid on your behalf (including but not limited to legal filing fees, government application fees, translation fees, and other disbursements) are non-refundable, as these costs have been incurred and cannot be recovered.

No-shows: if you do not attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice, the consultation fee is non-refundable.

All refund requests should be directed to hello@dawnpropartners.com. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when using our assessment tool, during consultations, and throughout any engagement. You understand that the quality and accuracy of our recommendations depend directly on the information you provide.

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any information, advice, or recommendations provided by Dawn Pro Partners before acting on them. Immigration decisions involve significant personal and financial consequences, and you should exercise your own judgment and seek independent legal advice where appropriate.

You agree not to misuse our Services, including but not limited to: submitting false information in the assessment tool, attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or using our content or materials in a manner that infringes our intellectual property rights.

8. No Guarantee of Immigration Outcomes

Dawn Pro Partners provides consultancy guidance based on our understanding of current Portuguese immigration requirements. We do not and cannot guarantee any specific immigration outcome, including but not limited to visa approval, permit issuance, application processing time, family reunification approval, or eligibility for tax regimes such as IFICI.

Immigration decisions are made solely by Portuguese authorities (including but not limited to AIMA, SEF, and consular offices). Processing timelines, eligibility criteria, and application outcomes are outside our control and may change without notice.

Our service is designed to provide you with the best possible preparation and guidance, but no consultancy can guarantee the outcome of a government process. You acknowledge and accept this inherent uncertainty when engaging our Services.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Website and Services integrate with third-party services that are necessary to deliver them, including Cal.com (consultation scheduling), Stripe (payment processing for paid strategy sessions), Resend (transactional email), and external websites referenced in our guide articles. Assessment and booking correlation data are stored on self-hosted infrastructure we operate in the European Union, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Dawn Pro Partners is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or practices of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We encourage you to review these before using them.

The inclusion of links to external websites does not imply endorsement of those websites or their content by Dawn Pro Partners.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, assessments, algorithms, PDF reports, guide articles, page layouts, and design elements, is the intellectual property of Dawn Pro Partners or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may view and download your personal assessment results and PDF report for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may share your PDF assessment with family members and professional advisors for the purpose of making immigration decisions.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content on this Website without prior written permission from Dawn Pro Partners. Unauthorized use of our content may result in legal action.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Dawn Pro Partners makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the information provided through our Services for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by Portuguese law, Dawn Pro Partners, its founders, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or any damages arising from reliance on assessment results, consultation advice, or website content.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, the total aggregate liability of Dawn Pro Partners for any claim arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to Dawn Pro Partners in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Portuguese or EU law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dawn Pro Partners, its founders, employees, and partners from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your provision of inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information; (c) your misuse of the Services; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

13. Force Majeure

Dawn Pro Partners shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, without limitation: changes in immigration law or policy, government actions or decisions (including AIMA processing delays), natural disasters, pandemics, armed conflict, civil unrest, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, or any other event of force majeure.

In the event of a force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients and resume performance as soon as practicable.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith through direct communication. You may contact us at hello@dawnpropartners.com to raise any concern or complaint.

Nothing in this section shall limit your rights as a consumer under mandatory provisions of EU or Portuguese consumer protection law, including your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
